John Ochsendorf, professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was curator of the very successful exhibition, “Guastavino, Palaces for the People,” which opened in the Boston Public Library and moved on to the National Building Museum in Washington, D. C., the Museum of the City of New York, and, finally, to the Swannanoa Valley Museum & History Center in Black Mountain, NC, Guastavino's last home.

The mission of the Guastavino Alliance inspired John Ochsendorf to donate all the materials of the exhibition to the Alliance. Replications of those materials are available for exhibition to any member of the Alliance.

Presently, firm plans are to erect a temporary exhibition at the main library in Asheville, North Carolina, followed by a permanent outdoor exhibition at the Aloft Hotel in Asheville.
